Tire Logo design
I had the wonderful opportunity to help with the creation of 2 new tire products for the “Grappler” tire line up. The Recon Grappler and Nomad Grappler. We were asked to design 2 new tire logos and the process from illustration, 3D rendering and mock ups was a ton of fun.
the Recon Grappler tire is an “All-Terrain” with a thicker sidewall to be able to drive on rocky trails and withstand hard terrain. These tires were designed for full sized trucks and Jeeps. I created a metal plated theme, kinda giving the logo a tank feel because of the characteristics the new tire had.
Using 3D to create a mock up to see how the logo will look like in a circular shape.
Seeing the logo on the actual tire is a great feeling. The logo looks really tough in real life.
